I've been a victim of violence, mental abuse, cancer, disease, self hatred, selfishness, ego, sexual assault, bullying, self harm, addiction, pride, hatred, disorders and materialism. I have been a victim in many ways and in every situation I had to become one to learn from the experience.
Types of Victimization examples:
- Mental & Physical Bullying
- Sexual misconduct
- Stalking
- Physical Assault/Battery
- Dating/Relationship/Domestic Violence
- Theft
- Threat
- Self!
It does no good to wallow in self pity or self hatred for something that happened in the past. Learn from it and move on. Easy to say... hard to do! I get it! What happened was out of your control, we were taken advantage of. However, what we do have is the control of our own thoughts and feelings. That is the only thing we really have control over. So take control of it to the best of your ability. Making positive changes takes time, and consistency.
Once you get the momentum going, nothing can stop you. Ride the wave of life my friend! If you have been a victim, be a support for others!
You may have some words of wisdom which they may be able to utilize, just as I hope this post might do for someone.
Be the change. Get help, be a friend, and make necessary changes. (Positive Changes!) Don't allow it to be okay to let others be victimized either. We need to stand together and not allow abuse to continue. Be brave enough to Ride the Storm of life. Ride the wave to the calm!
Let's stand together and be a voice for others who can't stand alone.

“If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor. If an elephant has its foot on the tail of a mouse and you say that you are neutral, the mouse will not appreciate your neutrality.”
